Acra’s powerful 4.5-litre engine has become the most powerful on the earth, overtaking Volkswagen’s diesel version of the same model.
The 4.7-litres petrol version of Acra, launched in 2009, was the most successful Acra vehicle, overtaken only by the VW Golf GTI and the Volkswagen Touareg, which also use a diesel engine.
In fact, Acra has now surpassed Volkswagen in the engine category.
Acra’s engine has a maximum output of 540hp and a top speed of 186mph.
It has an aluminium crankshaft, an aluminium block with titanium cooling and a high-strength steel cylinder head.
Its top speed is 184mph.
It is powered by a four-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 707bhp.
The car also has a six-speed manual gearbox.
It can go from 0 to 100km/h in a claimed 4.8 seconds.
Despite the high power, the car can be driven with the driver sitting still.
“Acra is the ultimate sporty hybrid, combining a sporty look with a comfortable driving experience,” Acra said in a statement.
There are six versions of Acras, all of which have been sold in the US, Germany and Brazil.
The company has sold more than 10 million Acras worldwide.
Although Acra makes only the four-door Acra and the two-door Golf, it has sold around 1.5 million Acra GTIs.
